AUTUMN IN URBANA WORKSHOP
Join us for this incredible experience to learn the process of creating a painting from start to finish in a 3-week series.
Learn how an artist can draw inspiration from his/her surroundings. Day one starts at the park, where we will create thumbnail sketches, collect items & soak in all the beautiful fall elements of Urbana.
In the second workshop, we will then focus on creating a successful composition, a color scheme, and a mood for our painting. Artists will use inspiration collected at 1st workshop for planning. We will begin the painting process (and have multimedia options) on an 11x14 canvas.
The last workshop we will complete the paintings. We will conclude with a group discussion, positive comment critique, and sharing of completed works of art.
1st night is held at Urbana District Park & the rest are held at the studio. Specific details to follow via email before workshop to registered participants.
