Join us this summer as a Studio Assistant (SA)! 

Each week we love to have a hand with our littlest artists. 

Studio assistants help with projects, games, art groups and more:)

Studio Assistant candidates must be patient, kinds & wear a smile. They must be dependable, responsible and possess the confidence and ability to help lead a small group of artists. 

​

We provide our SA with documents for SSL hours for high school.  

Weekly times vary depending on theme and age group.

​

Studio Volunteer Assistant Details:

​

Arrive 15 mins before scheduled day begins.

Stay 15 mins after assigned day ends to help with clean up & review reflect on day.

​

Must be able to attend M-F of the full week. (Not including unexpected emergencies or illness)

​

Dress appropriate to work with children. (like you'd wear to school). 

​

May not wear ear pods during volunteer hours or "play" on phone.

​

Must be at least a rising fall 2025 8th-12th grader. 

 

It is helpful to be a past or current participant in something at A&S Studio. It helps to know how the day flows and where supplies and materials are located to best assist the adult studio artist for the day. While we do take on new volunteers, we will fill spots with affiliated teens first.

Deadline for forms is Monday, May 5th.

​

You will be notified by Friday, May 16 to confirm acceptance, availably and dates for volunteering. You will also be contacted by May 16th if we are unable to accommodate your request. Unfortunately we have a large number of applications and cannot take everyone. We have various opportunities throughout the year for volunteers and will keep applicants names to reach out for future opportunities as well.
