Join us this summer as a Studio Assistant (SA)! Each week we love to have a hand with our littlest artists. 

Studio assistants help with projects, games, art groups and more:)

Studio Assistant candidate must be patient, kinds & wear a smile. They must be dependable, responsible and possess a the confidence and ability to help lead a small group of artists. 

​

We provide our SA with documents for SSL hours for high school.  

Some programs are full day 9-3 workshops and some are half day 9-12. 

​

Studio Volunteer Assistant Details:

​

Arrive by 8:45 (or at least 15 mins before scheduled day begins) *No earlier than 25mins

Stay 15  mins after assigned day ends (either 3pm or 12pm) to help with clean up & review reflect on day.

​

Must be able to attend M-F of the full week. (Not including unexpected  emergencies or illness)

​

Dress appropriate to work with children. (like you'd wear to school). 

​

May not wear ear pods during volunteer hours or "play" on phone.

​

Must be a rising fall 2024 8th grader. 

 

It is helpful to be a past or current participant in something at A&S Studio. Helps to know how the day flows and where supplies and materials are located to best assist the adult studio artist for the day.

Deadline for forms is May 5th.

You will be notified by May 12 to confirm acceptance, availably and dates for volunteering. You will also be contacted by May 12th if we are unable to accommodate your request. Unfortunately we have a large number of applications and cannot take everyone.
